作为法国官方指定的2014中法建交50周年法国现代艺术家代表，弗朗西斯·德·朗洛的作品有着独特的个人风格。虽然以抽象形式示众，却展现出了极强的亲和力——明丽的色彩，和谐的构图，每一张作品都透露出欢愉和美好，正如电视制片人Philippe Bouvard所言，“绘画通常太严肃，可弗朗西斯的画却带来了微笑、梦想和诗意”。从每一幅作品中不难察觉，弗朗西斯·德·朗洛很容易在任何地方与周围环境和谐相处，“我的灵感来自于任何当时所处的外部世界。”这里有地标性的埃菲尔铁塔和凯旋门，也有无垠的沙漠和绿荫，他笔下描绘着蓝色的月亮和飞过的群鸟，也记录着城市的发展和大气污染……当这些视觉映射投向弗朗西斯的画布，则呈现出抽象而极具节奏感的色块分割，它们不仅是客观世界的显现，更是艺术家内心的情感迸发。抽象，可以如此平易近人，宛若诗歌涌入观者的世界。韵律感是弗朗西斯作品给人的另一印象。就如同康定斯基的绘画，鲜丽的颜色、线条的疏密交织，宛若跳动的音符。视觉感官成功奏响了内心的律动，画布之上，艺术家同样思索着关于信仰、未知世界、时空、时光与传说的命题，扣动心弦，引人驻足。
